Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1 year of warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or production experience
- experienced operating power tool equipment including cherry picker, reach truck, pallet jack
- previous experience with material handling
- working knowledge of scanning equipment, internal database tracking system, dollies and carts
- basic computer skills
- excellent customer service
- professional attitude and appearance
- ability to work overtime and meet deadlines

Job Duties
- assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment
- record shipment data including weight, charges, and space availability
- assist in handling materials and items from receiving area to designated bin locations
- facilitate outbound shipments using proper packing methods and third party delivery services
- fulfill orders ready for shipment via will call, delivery or install
- receive and unpack materials and supplies
- report damages and discrepancies to request reimbursement or re shipment
- maintain logs of all shipments outgoing and incoming
- fill requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute accordingly
- allocate product to appropriate rack, shelf or bin location according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, brand or product code
- prepare monthly production and volume reports to measure productivity and prepare billing charges
- handle hazardous materials as directed by management
- maneuver through computer systems to perform specified duties
- assist with execution of weekly cycle counts to ensure inventory integrity
- unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
- post weights and shipping charges and affix postage
- mark materials with identifying information
