Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • possess good physical stamina and coordination
  • able to stand and/or walk for long periods daily while frequently bending, twisting, reaching, and periodically lifting up to 50 lbs
  • complete a pre-employment drug screen as part of a conditional job offer
  • ability to work flexible hours and/or days

  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • previous warehouse or freight forwarder experience preferred
  • familiarity with Bills of Lading, Shipping Manifests, Delivery Orders, etc. preferred
  • ability to speak Spanish preferred

Job Duties

  • Receive goods from customers and suppliers by offloading and loading vehicles, checking paperwork, weighing, measuring, and reporting discrepancies or damages
  • operate stand-up, sit-down forklifts, and hand jacks for palletization, stretch wrapping, and banding of cargo
  • load and unload trailers/ocean containers in a professional and damage-free manner
  • prepare outbound loads by matching paperwork, labeling, and handling Unit Load Device (ULD) preparation
  • sign off Bills of Lading accurately, verifying counts and damages
  • maintain the flow of materials and products in warehouses with varying degrees
  • stage cargo within the warehouse safely and orderly while maintaining standards of cleanliness and organization
