Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and instructions
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move materials up to 600 pounds using machinery
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, stoop, reach, and climb ladders
  • Ability to follow SOPs and GMP guidelines
  • Capacity to work in moderate noise and cold storage environments

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and correspondence
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work efficiently in a team
  • Ability to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions
  • Experience with warehouse machinery operation preferred but not mandatory

Job Duties

  • Prepare orders for shipment in accordance with pick tickets and customer requirements
  • Check inventory for stock availability and notify supervisor of shortages
  • Package and ship products following packaging guidelines
  • Stock warehouse shelves and maintain product stock in work area
  • Receive and unload incoming materials, verifying accuracy with purchase orders
  • Inspect received shipments for damages and report findings to supervisor
  • Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and shrink-wrap machines
  • Handle production material according to work orders and notify supervisor of issues
  • Label products accurately according to work orders and customer instructions
  • Follow work order adjustments for quantity and packaging specifications
  • Assist in special companywide departmental projects
