Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Comfort working at heights up to 30 feet
  • Self-motivated with ability to work in a team environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to train and be certified on material handling equipment
  • Ability to work overtime as necessary
  • Ability to follow directions and change priorities
  • Reliable attendance
  • Adherence to safety and quality standards

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Comfort working with heights up to 20 to 30 feet regularly
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to follow direction and change priorities
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with technologies such as computers or point of sale systems is a plus
  • Ability to work overtime as necessary to complete daily work
  • Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks
  • Reads and applies new information and methods
  • Maintains appropriate licenses, training, and certifications
  • Works on routine assignments requiring some problem resolution
  • Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures
  • Adheres to all quality guidelines
  • Works under moderate supervision

Job Duties

  • Unloads trucks in the inbound section using pallet jack or equivalent devices
  • Uses Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products
  • Stores products in warehouse locations using order picker or other devices
  • Picks products from warehouse locations and loads into outbound trucks
  • Follow established process to fulfill orders including accurate picking, quality control, packing and preparing orders
  • Cross-train in multiple areas of warehouse and participate in projects as needed
  • Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment such as order picker, forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider
