Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior warehouse or material handling experience preferred
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
- Ability to safely lift and move products up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work first shift 5 am to 1:30 pm Monday through Friday or until work completed
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and regulations
- Ability to use warehouse management systems or willingness to learn
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards
Job Qualifications
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfort working with heights up to 20 to 30 feet regularly
- Self-motivated with ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to follow direction and change priorities
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with technologies like computers or point of sale systems is a plus
- Ability to work overtime as necessary
Job Duties
- Unload trucks in the inbound section by using pallet jack or equivalent devices
- Use Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products
- Store products in warehouse locations using order picker or other devices
- Pick products from warehouse locations and load into outbound trucks
- Follow established process to fulfill orders including picking, quality control checks, packing, and preparing orders for shipment
- Cross-train in multiple areas of the warehouse and participate in projects as needed
- Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Train and be certified to drive material handling equipment such as order picker, forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider
