Job Duties
- assigned to main department but support all areas of distribution center including value added services, receiving, returns, damages, picking, packing, transfers, shipping, and inventory movement as needed
- adaptable to reassignment based on business needs
- pick, pack, process, and ship orders timely and accurately
- meet or exceed engineered productivity metrics such as units picked per hour and orders per hour
- effectively use and troubleshoot picking systems, scanners, and related technology
- comply with safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment
- keep warehouse area clean and organized
- participate in training, team building, meetings, and personal development
- perform duties in accordance with distribution center guidelines and company policies
- receive and provide feedback to improve job performance
- communicate about tasks, department issues, and relevant personal contexts
- support peers with standard operating procedures
- use department-specific resources and tools appropriately
- understand department layout and storage procedures
- comply with all safety policies and legal requirements
- recognize basic operations of the department
- identify and support operational needs based on daily volume, raising issues as necessary
