Job Requirements
- must have high school diploma or GED preferred
- valid driver’s license with at least three years driving history
- acceptable motor vehicle record
- passing urine drug screen per company policy and applicable federal or state requirements
- compliance with all company drug and alcohol policies including random, post-accident, or reasonable suspicion testing
- meet physical qualifications to operate commercial motor vehicle under FMCSA Section 391.41
- ability to frequently stand, walk, lift, pull, push, bend, squat, climb, kneel
- ability to regularly handle and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs
- ability to work under typical warehouse conditions and various environmental conditions including extreme temperatures and loud noise
- ability to work in safety sensitive environment with constant awareness and safe work practices
- specific vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- warehouse or distribution experience preferred
- valid driver’s license from state of residence with at least three years of driving history
- preferred one year of experience operating a commercial motor vehicle with GVWR 10,001 lbs or more within last 36 months
- ability to read and match orders and ship tickets
- strong skills in reading, writing, basic math, data entry, reasoning, and analysis
- certification to operate power truck equipment as required by company
- must meet physical qualifications to operate a motor vehicle in accordance with FMCSA Section 391.41
Job Duties
- perform warehouse functions such as receiving, storing, picking, and shipping product
- make safe and timely deliveries to customers using company vehicles
- adhere to all driving and safety regulations including MVR and drug/alcohol testing compliance
- maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse
- operate power truck equipment such as forklifts as required
- accurately read and match orders and ship tickets to items picked and delivered
- communicate professionally with customers during deliveries
