Job Requirements
- HS diploma, GED or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license
Job Qualifications
- HS diploma, GED or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays and days off
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to judge distances
Job Duties
- Move air cargo within designated warehouse
- Load and unload cargo from pallets and containers
- Build up cargo for outbound flights
- Break down cargo from import flights
- Facilitate loading and unloading of cargo to and from semitrucks
- Operate basic cargo handling equipment such as forklift, aircraft pallets and pallet jacks
- Check freight for proper piece count, weight, dimensions and documents when accepting or delivering cargo
- Transport cargo to and from aircraft using 3,000 lb. vehicle
- Engage in proper ground to cockpit communication during aircraft push-out and towing
- Understand and react to verbal commands and safety warnings
