Job Requirements

  • HS diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Qualifications

  • HS diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays and days off
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others
  • Ability to judge distances

Job Duties

  • Move air cargo within designated warehouse
  • Load and unload cargo from pallets and containers
  • Build up cargo for outbound flights
  • Break down cargo from import flights
  • Facilitate loading and unloading of cargo to and from semitrucks
  • Operate basic cargo handling equipment such as forklift, aircraft pallets and pallet jacks
  • Check freight for proper piece count, weight, dimensions and documents when accepting or delivering cargo
  • Transport cargo to and from aircraft using 3,000 lb. vehicle
  • Engage in proper ground to cockpit communication during aircraft push-out and towing
  • Understand and react to verbal commands and safety warnings
