Walton Arts Center and Walmart AMP are premier performing arts and entertainment venues located in Northwest Arkansas, dedicated to connecting and engaging people through inspiring arts experiences. Walton Arts Center, based in downtown Fayetteville, Arkansas, is the state’s largest and busiest arts presenter, welcoming thousands of patrons annually to enjoy Broadway national tours, self-produced arts programming, festivals, and free classroom series performances. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in hospitality or related field
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in food and beverage management
- Proven ability to lead high-volume operations
- Experience managing budgets and financial performance
- Demonstrated compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in food and beverage operations preferably in sports, concerts, or entertainment venues
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Experience managing $5M+ annual food and beverage revenue
- Expertise in strategic planning, vendor negotiation, and health and safety compliance including ServSafe and responsible alcohol management
- Excellent problem solving, team collaboration, and communication skills
- Comfortable working long hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Lead and execute a strategic vision for food and beverage operations across both venues
- Drive profitability through smart pricing, cost control, menu and process innovation
- Oversee staff management including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance development
- Manage vendor relations including supply chain, nonprofits, and third-party providers
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences for patrons, artists, sponsors, and partners
- Report on key performance indicators and financial performance, managing department budgets and forecasts
