Job Requirements

  • 1 year’s general management experience including financial accountability
  • 2 years of college OR 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervising 10 associates OR 2 years general work experience and 1 year supervising 10 associates
  • compliance with state-specific firearm eligibility and training where applicable
  • successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments
  • commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace
  • willingness to represent company in community and media engagements

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership preferred
  • experience supervising 20 or more direct reports preferred
  • general management experience with financial accountability
  • retail experience with supervisory responsibilities
  • ability to lead and mentor associates
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • experience in budget management and financial analysis
  • community outreach and public relation skills
  • knowledge of operational standards and quality assurance
  • proficiency in developing business plans and performance management

Job Duties

  • Direct and guide management and hourly associates on customer service techniques
  • ensure resolution of customer needs and complaints within company standards
  • build relationships with associates for effective communication and feedback
  • drive financial performance by achieving budgeted sales, wages, and expenses
  • assist in expense control aligned to sales
  • create and implement plans to improve financial outcomes
  • participate in community outreach and represent the company
  • promote company programs, events, and sustainability efforts
  • set standards for facility operations including service levels and merchandise presentation
  • oversee inventory management and quality assurance
  • provide supervision, training, and development opportunities for staff
  • assign duties and set clear expectations
  • drive the execution of business plans and remove obstacles to performance
  • foster a team-based work environment promoting belonging
  • ensure compliance with company policies and ethics
  • maintain high standards of integrity and accountability
