Job Requirements
- One year’s general management experience in role with financial accountability
- One year’s experience in retail and one year’s experience supervising ten or more associates/employees, or two years’ general work experience and one year’s experience supervising ten or more associates/employees
- For facilities that sell ammunition, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility
- For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of firearms-specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training
- Ability to maintain a drug-free workplace in compliance with company policies
Job Qualifications
- One year’s general management experience in a role with financial accountability
- Experience supervising ten or more associates/employees
- Ability to build high-performing teams and foster a culture of belonging
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Proficient in financial budgeting and forecasting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to uphold company policies, ethics, and integrity
- Preferred: Two years’ general work experience supervising twenty or more direct reports
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field
Job Duties
- Direct and guide members, managers, and hourly associates on proper customer service approaches and techniques
- Ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved according to company guidelines and standards
- Build relationships with associates to ensure proper feedback
- Drive and ensure the financial performance of the facility by confirming budgeted sales, wages, and other expenses are achieved
- Assist the store manager in leading the management team in controlling expenses and wages
- Create and implement plans to improve the financial performance of the facility
- Analyze economic trends and community needs for budget forecasting
