Walton Arts Center and Walmart AMP are prominent cultural establishments located in Northwest Arkansas, committed to enriching the community through world-class arts and entertainment experiences. Walton Arts Center operates two acclaimed venues including a 1,200-seat proscenium theatre and a 269-seat black box theatre in Fayetteville. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Certification in forklifts, scissor lift, and boom lift required or willingness to certify onsite
- Certified or willing to certify in First Aid/CPR/AED
- Minimum of 2 years' related job experience such as warehouse or handyman work
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
- Ability to talk, listen, and speak clearly on telephone
- Ability to endure sitting or standing for extended periods
- Ability to endure walking or standing on various surfaces
- Ability to endure outdoor weather elements
- Comfortable in noisy, crowded, and volatile environments with pyrotechnics and loud noises
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Excellent attendance and flexibility for variable hours
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining positive attitude
- Commitment to highest standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance
- Must have working cell phone and willingness to install work-related applications
Job Qualifications

- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Certification in forklifts, scissor lift, and boom lift or willingness to certify
- Certified or willing to certify in First Aid/CPR/AED
- Confident operation of various hand tools
- Excellent attendance record
- Ability to work variable event-driven schedules including weekends and late hours
- Commitment to integrity, professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality
- Ability to work in large, noisy environments with loud music and pyrotechnics
- Desire to learn and improve continuously
- Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to meet qualitative and quantitative productivity standards
- Ability to maintain punctual attendance
Job Duties
- Assist with the execution of setup and tear down for both public and private events
- Follow written and verbal direction regarding setup of assets
- Assist with asset distribution including setting chairs, bike rack, stanchions, lawn chairs, tables, metal detectors, furniture, security barricade, tents, tent lights and signage throughout the venue
- Assist with the unloading of shipments when directed
- Perform general organization and inventory of assets as directed
- Perform general clean-up as directed
- Provide information to Operations Team Lead for event recap reports
- Attend staff meetings as required for training or planning purposes
- Act as an ambassador of the Walmart AMP when interaction with patrons, clients, visiting artists, and sponsors
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures including safety standards
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain security and safety requirements as defined by operations guidelines
- Represent Walton Arts Center / Walmart AMP at both on and off-site events, as requested
- Maintain professional working relationships with teammates, staff members from other departments, vendors, patrons, and tenants of leased spaces
