Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to work full-time with daylight and evening shift rotation including weekends and holidays
- ability to walk, sit, bend, lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- ability to push carts weighing up to 100 pounds occasionally
- effective communication skills
- ability to maintain sanitary work environment
- willingness to work with elderly and ill populations
- reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in food service or personal care helpful but not required

Job Duties
- Assist cook in minor food preparation for meals and in-between meal nourishments
- work on the tray-line serving desserts, salads, beverages, and tray set-up
- set up dining room tables with complete place settings in an attractive manner
- deliver food carts to dining rooms and nursing stations
- check in food and supply deliveries in the absence of the supervisor
- assist nursing staff with meal distribution
- maintain sanitary conditions of food storage areas, equipment, environment, and work surfaces using approved sanitizing solutions
- communicate effectively and maintain interpersonal skills especially when dealing with elderly and ill populations
- maintain a professional, customer-oriented demeanor and collaborate with co-workers and peers
