Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of front-of-house experience in food service
  • supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • experience in a healthcare or senior living environment
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • working knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to lead a team
  • availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Supervise daily dining room operations, including scheduling and assigning duties to front-of-house staff
  • ensure a high standard of customer service, with attention to the needs of elderly residents
  • train, coach, and support servers to promote a positive team environment and professional service
  • monitor dining room cleanliness, table settings, and adherence to sanitation guidelines
  • collaborate with dietary and healthcare teams to ensure compliance with resident dietary requirements and medical needs
  • address resident concerns or feedback with professionalism and care
  • assist in onboarding new staff and conducting ongoing training sessions
  • support management with inventory tracking, ordering supplies, and operational improvements
