Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous food service experience preferred
  • Food handler certification or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand movements
  • Must pass pre-screening tuberculin skin test or x-ray
  • Must pass urine drug screen test
  • Must successfully complete background check including fingerprinting and criminal records check
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Ability to work flexible schedules
  • Must adhere to all company compliance policies

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous food service experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food handling and safety protocols

Job Duties

  • Provide courteous, efficient, and professional service to residents, family members, and visitors
  • Interact with guests in a friendly, respectful, and professional manner to ensure a positive dining experience
  • Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders verifying accuracy and special requests
  • Demonstrate knowledge of menu items ingredients preparation methods and daily specials
  • Follow proper serving and etiquette standards including serving from the left and clearing between courses
  • Ensure food is attractively plated and served at the appropriate temperature
  • Prepare the dining area prior to each meal ensuring cleanliness and proper stocking of supplies
  • Maintain a clean organized and sanitary dining environment before during and after meal service
  • Bus tables return dishes to the kitchen and assist with general cleaning duties
  • Work cooperatively with team members assisting with inventory dishwashing deliveries and restocking
  • Report equipment malfunctions or safety issues promptly to the Director of Culinary Services
  • Assist in marketing efforts through friendly interactions during tours or community events
  • Observe and promptly report changes in residents' conditions or behavior to a supervisor
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and staff information at all times
