Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1-2 years wait-staff experience preferred
  • Alcohol servers license required
  • Ability to read write speak and understand English
  • Knowledgeable of proper food handling procedures
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Attendance and reliability including proper notification and punctuality
  • Physical ability for extended standing walking lifting bending and stooping
  • Willingness to adjust personal schedule when needed
  • Professional dress and good personal hygiene

Job Qualifications

  • monitoring salad bar freshness
  • transmitting food orders to kitchen
  • inspecting food quality and temperature
  • following proper serving techniques
  • responding professionally to patron requests and complaints
  • demonstrating knowledge of catering setups and menu items
  • building cooperative work relationships
  • adapting to changes especially in crisis situations
  • providing proper notification for absences and tardiness
  • arriving on time ready to work
  • dressing professionally and maintaining good hygiene
