Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food service or waitstaff role
  • Ability to multitask efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Patience and professionalism in customer interactions
  • Physical stamina for standing and walking during shifts
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Experience as a waiter/waitress in restaurant or food-service industry
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Professional, patient, and able to satisfy demanding customers
  • Experience working with senior population preferred
  • Team player willing to assist for pleasurable dining experience
  • Familiarity with food safety and health guidelines is a plus
  • Ability to adjust to different personality types positively
  • Reliable, caring, and gentle demeanor
  • Respectful and calm with elderly individuals

Job Duties

  • Patiently and cheerfully taking resident meal orders
  • Checking station tables for settings and cleanliness
  • Reading the menu before service to assist residents with selections
  • Assisting in plating and portion control of appetizers, salads, soups, beverages, and desserts
  • Bussing tables at the end of meals
