Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in food service or waitstaff preferred
knowledge of food safety and infection control practices
ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
ability to follow instructions and work in a team
availability to work part-time shifts from 11am to 2pm or 6:30am to 2:30pm

Job Qualifications

Knowledge of and ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills
knowledge of food handling and infection control including HACCP standards
ability to perform duties in compliance with established policies and procedures
ability to work effectively in a team environment
previous experience in food service or waitstaff preferred

Job Duties

Greet residents warmly and take their food order
deliver food ordered by resident and guests to the table in a courteous and considerate manner
clear prior course dishes before serving next course
clear tables at the end of the meal and pre-set table for the next meal service
perform cleaning responsibilities and ensure the dining room is maintained in a sanitary and orderly manner
attend scheduled meetings and in-services
safely operate all job related food service equipment
