Job Requirements
- Minimum high school education or equivalent
- minimum 2 years culinary experience preferred in fine dining setting catering or commercial kitchen
- must be at least 16 years of age to serve food and 18 to serve alcohol
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and work well with others
- must be able to maintain professionalism under pressure
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of culinary experience desired preferred in fine dining setting catering operation or commercial kitchen
- exceptional communication skills
- ability to work well alone and in group settings
- responds well to changing environment of kitchen and events
- strong multitasking and teamwork skills including table and backroom responsibilities
- flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff
- food service permitted at age 16-17 years serve alcohol must be 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Preparing tables prior to events
- taking guest orders
- serving beverages and multiple course meals
- setting each event specific to the groups requests and needs including all tableware
- greeting guests professionally upon arrival
- providing high level customer service throughout the event
- collaborating with wait staff and dishwasher for post event clean up
- paying close attention to detail during service
