Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality or full-service senior living
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications
- ServeSafe certification
- Local Health Department Food Handler Card
- Ability to comply with all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to use ordering and delivery systems accurately
- Commitment to safety regulations including PPE, fire safety, and lockout tagout procedures
- Ability to perform physical duties such as cleaning and bussing tables
- Must pass background check, drug screening, TB test, and physical evaluation
- May require Covid-19 and Influenza vaccination depending on local mandates
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED

- Maintain ServeSafe certification
- Possess Local Health Department Food Handler Card
- Good communication skills

Job Duties
- Cultivate a warm and hospitable environment by making personal connections with residents and guests and treating all with professionalism and respect
- Take and deliver food orders in a timely manner
- Bus and reset tables per company standards
- Clean and maintain the dining room and bistro to the highest standards per company guidelines
- Complete required side work as assigned
- Attend pre-meal meeting to gain knowledge of the meal
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and provide general descriptions
- Assist residents with menu selections and respond professionally to questions about menu items
- Use Sunrise systems per guidelines for order taking and meal delivery to ensure accuracy
- Practice safe food handling procedures in accordance with laws and company policies
- Comply with national regulations pertaining to occupational health and safety
- Perform additional dining services duties such as washing and sanitizing dishes, sweeping work areas, emptying trash, preparing and serving light meals, assisting with food preparation and plating
- Participate actively as a member of a team
- Demonstrate the Team Member Credo and commit to service principles
- Attend regular meetings and maintain required training compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned
