Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality or full-service senior living
- Ability to maintain CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to maintain ServeSafe certification
- Ability to obtain and maintain Local Health Department Food Handler Card
- Ability to comply with state or provincial training and regulatory requirements
- Must be able to pass drug test, tuberculosis test, physical evaluation, and background check
- Covid-19 and influenza vaccination may be required in accordance with applicable laws
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Effective communication skills
- Competent organizational and time management skills
- Good judgment and problem-solving skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED

- Maintain certifications including CPR and First Aid, ServeSafe, and Local Health Department Food Handler Card

Job Duties
- Cultivate a warm and hospitable environment by making personal connections with residents and guests and treating all with professionalism and respect
- Take and deliver food orders in a timely manner
- Bus and reset tables per company standards
- Clean and maintain the dining room and bistro to the highest standards per company guidelines
- Complete required side work as assigned
- Attend pre-meal meeting to gain knowledge of the meal
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and provide general descriptions
- Assist residents with menu selections and respond professionally to questions about menu items
- Use Sunrise systems per guidelines for order taking and meal delivery to ensure accuracy
- Practice safe food handling procedures according to all relevant laws and Sunrise policies
- Comply with occupational health and safety regulations and practice safety procedures, including use of PPE and Safety Data Sheets
- Perform other dining services duties such as washing and sanitizing dishes, sweeping work areas, preparing and serving light meals, and assisting with food preparation when assigned
- Participate actively as a team member working towards common goals
- Demonstrate Team Member Credo in daily interactions
- Commit to serving residents and guests through Principles of Service
- Contribute to engagement programs and attend regular team meetings
- Maintain compliance with assigned training and other required training
- Perform other duties as assigned by community leadership
