Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- General knowledge of cleaning and sanitation
- General knowledge of safe food-handling practices
- Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily
- Compliance with health and safety protocols including use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Ability to maintain accurate logs and report equipment issues
- Availability to complete assigned training and certifications
- Ability to perform physical tasks including cleaning and lifting
- Pass a drug test and any required health screenings

Job Duties
- Sets-up and maintains the dish and pot washing areas
- Operates dish machine(s) according to manufacturer instruction
- Performs dishwashing tasks to properly wash and sanitize all dishes and china, silverware, glassware, utensils, and cookware
- Maintains accurate dish machine and pot and pan sink temperature and sanitation logs and reports any issues promptly
- Maintains accurate equipment logs and reports any issues promptly
- Completes assigned kitchen cleaning duties and ensures accuracy of daily and weekly cleaning logs
- Cleans assigned kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, fryers, microwaves, mixers, slicers, refrigerators, freezers, worktables, prep sinks, ice makers, coffee machines, hoods, and ventilation screens
- Performs assigned janitorial duties including sweeping work areas, mopping floors, washing walls and ceilings, sanitizing production areas, and emptying trash
- Assists with food preparation and plating when necessary
- Maintains the correct storage of all cookware, china, glassware, and utensils
- Maintains the correct storage of all janitorial and chemical supplies
- Assists in the receiving, storage, dating, labeling, and rotation of food and non-food supplies
- Complies with national/provincial regulations pertaining to occupational health and safety requirements and Risk Management programs and policies
- Cleans and maintains the dining room and bistro to the highest standards
- Busses and resets tables per company standards
- Takes and delivers food orders in a timely manner
- Prepares and serves light meals in accordance with established recipes and menus
- Maintains compliance in assigned required training and state/province regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned
