Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living
- maintain certifications including CPR and First Aid, ServeSafe, Local Health Department Food Handler Card
- able to perform essential duties satisfactorily
- comply with safety and sanitation standards
- pass pre-employment drug test
- participate in testing requirements such as Tuberculosis test and physical evaluation
- Covid-19 and Influenza vaccination as mandated by applicable laws
- sign Driver job description if driving a Sunrise vehicle
- maintain ongoing training and re-education as required by Sunrise and regulatory authorities

Job Duties
- Cultivate a warm and hospitable environment by making personal connections with residents and guests and treating all with professionalism and respect
- take and deliver food orders in a timely manner
- bus and reset tables per company standards
- clean and maintain the dining room and bistro to the highest standards per company guidelines
- complete required side work as assigned
- attend pre-meal meeting to gain knowledge of the meal
- maintain knowledge of menu items and provide general descriptions
- assist residents with menu selections and respond professionally to questions about menu items
- use Sunrise systems per guidelines for order taking and meal delivery to ensure accuracy
- practice safe food handling procedures at all times
- comply with occupational health and safety regulations and practice safety procedures including PPE, fire extinguisher use, SDS, and Lockout Tagout procedures
- perform other dining service duties such as washing and sanitizing dishes, sanitizing production areas, emptying trash, preparing and serving light meals, assisting with food preparation and plating, and supporting safety and regulatory compliance requirements
- participate actively as a team member and commit to team goals
- demonstrate the Team Member Credo in daily interactions
- attend regular meetings
- maintain compliance with required training
- perform other duties as assigned
