Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, carrying trays, and moving dining room equipment
- willingness to work part-time hours including weekends and holidays
- dependable and punctual
- ability to follow sanitary and safety guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Basic reading, writing and math skills
- effective verbal and written English skills
- general knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
- no experience needed
- willing to learn and complete on-the-job training
Job Duties
- Set and clear tables
- take residents' dining orders
- provide the highest level of customer service
- review menus with residents and acquaint new residents with dining at Atria
- assist with the preparation, delivery, and cleanup of daily meals, banquets, and special events
- create a strong sense of teamwork with colleagues
- clean and sanitize dining room tables, chairs, condiment containers, and equipment
