Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living
- maintain certifications and ongoing training as required by Sunrise and state/provincial regulations including CPR and First Aid, ServeSafe, and Local Health Department Food Handler Card
- comply with drug testing and health screening including TB test and physical evaluation
- Covid-19 and Influenza vaccination as mandated by law
- ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily
- team members who drive Sunrise vehicles must sign Driver job description and understand safety duties
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED

Job Duties
- Cultivate a warm and hospitable environment by making personal connections with residents and guests and treating all with professionalism and respect
- take and deliver food orders in a timely manner
- bus and reset tables per company standards
- clean and maintain the dining room and bistro to the highest standards per company guidelines
- complete required side work as assigned
- attend pre-meal meetings to gain knowledge of the meal
- maintain knowledge of menu items and provide general descriptions
- assist residents with menu selections and respond professionally to questions about menu items
- use Sunrise systems per guidelines for order taking and meal delivery to ensure accuracy
- practice safe food handling procedures at all times
- comply with occupational health and safety regulations and practice safety procedures including PPE and fire safety
- perform other dining services duties as assigned, including washing and sanitizing dishes, sweeping work areas, preparing and serving light meals, assisting with food preparation and plating, and ensuring cleanliness and safety in the work environment
