Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
- Must possess a Food Handler's Card or obtain within 30 days from hire
- A passion for working with seniors and providing excellent customer service
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in waitstaff, food service, or hospitality preferred
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to lift, carry, and serve food trays as required
- A friendly, caring, and respectful attitude towards residents, employees, and visitors
Job Duties
- Greet and assist residents in a courteous and professional manner during meal times
- Serve meals to residents according to dietary guidelines and special requests
- Set tables, clear dishes, and ensure the dining room is clean and organized
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of meals to residents' rooms when needed
- Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate meal orders and requests are met
- Ensure that dining areas are safe, clean, and well-maintained at all times
- Respond to resident requests and special needs with a helpful and friendly attitude
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards to ensure safe meal service
- Assist with other tasks as needed to support the dining services department
