Job Requirements
- must be at least 16 years of age
- a high school diploma or equivalent is required
- must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
- must possess a food handler’s card or obtain within 30 days from hire
- some food service experience is preferred but not necessary
- must have patience and enjoy working with seniors

Job Duties
- be courteous and communicate well with the elder population, public, and staff
- follow regulations for safe handling of food and service items
- set up dining room table for meals
- take resident's/guest's orders and serve them promptly
- adhere to food, sanitary and safety standards
- clear and clean tables after every meal service
