Job Requirements

high school diploma or GED
minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living
maintain certifications including CPR and First Aid, ServeSafe, Local Health Department Food Handler Card
comply with safety and health regulations
participate in required training
pass drug test excluding marijuana
complete tuberculosis test and physical evaluation
Covid-19 and Influenza vaccination as mandated by law
sign Driver job description if operating a Sunrise vehicle

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or GED

effective written and verbal communication skills
good judgment and problem-solving skills
competent in organizational and time management skills
ability to handle multiple priorities

Job Duties

cultivate a warm and hospitable environment by making personal connections with residents and guests and treating all with professionalism and respect
take and deliver food orders in a timely manner
bus and reset tables per company standards
clean and maintain the dining room and bistro to the highest standards per company guidelines
complete required side work as assigned
attend pre-meal meeting to gain knowledge of the meal
maintain knowledge of menu items and provide general descriptions
assist residents with menu selections and respond professionally to questions about menu items
use Sunrise systems per guidelines for order taking and meal delivery to ensure accuracy
practice safe food handling procedures at all times in accordance with all, federal, state/provincial, and local laws, regulations, and guidance and Sunrise policies and procedures
comply with national/provincial regulations pertaining to occupational health and safety and Risk Management programs and policies, adhere to safety rules and regulations, and practice safety procedures at all times including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), fire extinguishers, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and Lockout Tagout procedures
perform other Dining Services duties when assigned such as wash and sanitize dishes, sweep work areas, prepare and serve light meals, assist with food preparation and plating
participate actively as a member of a team and commit to working toward team goals
demonstrate Team Member Credo in daily interactions
commit to serving residents and guests through Principles of Service
contribute to engagement programs and attend regular meetings
maintain compliance in assigned required training and other training required by regulations
perform other duties as assigned
