Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Two years related experience and/or training or combination
Excellent customer service and communications skills required
Ability to apply common understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Capacity to write simple correspondence and possess basic mathematical skills
Outgoing personality and positive attitude
Strong knowledge of bar operations, service procedures and function
Basic math skills
Ability to handle money and operate a cash register quickly and efficiently
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)
Possess honesty and integrity
Have good memory when handling multiple orders
Ability to listen well, communicate effectively and follow instructions
Excellent communication skills
Ability to interact positively with customers, employees and management personnel
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any regulatory agency if applicable
Must obtain Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission License (TABC)
Serve-safe certified (Food Handlers)
Dependability, good attendance and occasional overtime required
May be required to work evenings, weekends or holidays as scheduled
Use proper protective equipment as directed at all times
Use proper lifting techniques when handling trays, dishes, and similar items
Immediately report all workplace injuries
Report any unsafe acts, conditions, or equipment
Maintain clean uniform at all times

Job Qualifications

Two years of food and beverage operation experience
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to read, comprehend simple instructions, and perform basic math

Strong knowledge of bar operations, service procedures and function
Ability to handle money and operate a cash register quickly and efficiently

Job Duties

Provide friendly, fast and helpful customer service through the consistent practice and delivery of red carpet customer service to all guests and team members
Ensure proper and timely set up for live racing
Maintain adequate levels of rolled silverware
Fill salt and pepper shakers as well as sugar caddies daily
Maintain clean, well-stocked and organized work areas/stations
Serve food and beverages as ordered by customers quickly and efficiently
Communicate clearly with guests, co-workers, and supervisors
