Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality or full-service senior living
- CPR and First Aid certification maintenance
- ServeSafe certification maintenance
- Local Health Department Food Handler Card maintenance
- Ability to perform duties satisfactorily
- Compliance with Sunrise and state/provincial regulations
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to attend required training and meetings
- Relevant health and safety compliance including PPE usage and fire safety
- Ability to pass drug and health screenings as required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED

- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Competent organizational and time management skills
- Good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Maintain CPR and First Aid certification

- Ability to understand and follow safety policies and procedures
Job Duties
- Cultivate a warm and hospitable environment by making personal connections with residents and guests and treating all with professionalism and respect
- Take and deliver food orders in a timely manner
- Bus and reset tables per company standards
- Clean and maintain the dining room and bistro to the highest standards per company guidelines
- Complete required side work as assigned
- Attend pre-meal meeting to gain knowledge of the meal
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and provide general descriptions
- Assist residents with menu selections and respond professionally to questions about menu items
- Use Sunrise systems for order taking and meal delivery to ensure accuracy
- Practice safe food handling procedures in accordance with laws and company policies
- Comply with health and safety regulations and use necessary safety equipment
- Perform other dining services duties as assigned including washing and sanitizing dishes and utensils
- Sweep and sanitize work areas and empty trash
- Prepare and serve light meals according to standardized recipes and menus
- Assist with food preparation and plating when necessary
- Participate actively as a member of a team and commit to working toward team goals
- Demonstrate team member credo and principles of service in daily interactions
- Attend meetings and maintain compliance with training requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
