Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living
- Maintain certifications and ongoing training including CPR and First Aid, ServeSafe, Local Health Department Food Handler Card
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Possess written and verbal communication skills
- Competent in organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to comply with health and safety regulations and use personal protective equipment
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Willingness to participate in required health testing such as Tuberculosis test and Physical evaluation
- Covid-19 and Influenza vaccination as mandated by law
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of experience in fine dining hospitality or full-service senior living preferred
- Certification in CPR and First Aid
- Certification in ServeSafe
- Local Health Department Food Handler Card
- Proficiency in using ordering and delivery systems
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols

Job Duties
- Cultivate a warm and hospitable environment by making personal connections with residents and guests and treating all with professionalism and respect
- Take and deliver food orders in a timely manner
- Bus and reset tables per company standards
- Clean and maintain the dining room and bistro to the highest standards per company guidelines
- Complete required side work as assigned
- Attend pre-meal meeting to gain knowledge of the meal
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and can provide general descriptions
- Assist residents with menu selections and respond professionally to questions about menu items
- Use Sunrise systems per guidelines for order taking and meal delivery to ensure accuracy
- Practice safe food handling procedures at all times in accordance with all federal, state/provincial, and local laws, regulations, and guidance and Sunrise policies and procedures
- Comply with national/provincial regulations pertaining to occupational health and safety and Risk Management programs and policies, adhere to safety rules and regulations, and practice safety procedures at all times including personal protective equipment (PPE), fire extinguishers, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and Lockout Tagout procedures
- Perform other Dining Services duties when assigned by community leadership including washing and sanitizing dishes and cookware, sweeping and sanitizing work areas, emptying trash, preparing and serving light meals, assisting with food preparation and plating
