Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living
- Certification in CPR and First Aid
- ServeSafe certification
- Local Health Department Food Handler Card
- Ability to maintain compliance with occupational health, safety, and food handling regulations
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to dining services
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and education
- Ability to pass drug test, tuberculosis test, physical evaluation, and background check
- Covid-19 and influenza vaccination as mandated by laws and authorities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED

Job Duties
- Cultivate a warm and hospitable environment by making personal connections with residents and guests and treating all with professionalism and respect
- Take and deliver food orders in a timely manner
- Bus and reset tables per company standards
- Clean and maintain the dining room and bistro to the highest standards per company guidelines
- Complete required side work as assigned
- Attend pre-meal meeting to gain knowledge of the meal
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and provide general descriptions
- Assist residents with menu selections and respond professionally to questions about menu items
- Use Sunrise systems per guidelines for order taking and meal delivery to ensure accuracy
- Practice safe food handling procedures in accordance with all federal, state, local laws, and Sunrise policies
- Comply with occupational health and safety regulations and practices including use of PPE and Safety Data Sheets
- Perform other dining service duties assigned such as washing and sanitizing dishes, sweeping work areas, preparing and serving light meals, assisting with food preparation and plating
- Participate actively as a team member and commit to working toward team goals
- Demonstrate daily interactions with teamwork and service credo
- Attend regular meetings and maintain compliance with required training
- Perform other duties as assigned.
