Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality and/or senior living
- maintain CPR and First Aid certification
- maintain ServeSafe certification
- maintain Local Health Department Food Handler Card
- compliance with safety and health regulations
- ability to perform physical tasks related to dining service
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to participate in required training and meetings
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living
- maintain required certifications including CPR and First Aid, ServeSafe, Local Health Department Food Handler Card
- ability to handle multiple priorities
- possess written and verbal communication skills

- demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Job Duties
- Cultivate a warm and hospitable environment by making personal connections with residents and guests and treating all with professionalism and respect
- take and deliver food orders in a timely manner
- bus and reset tables per company standards
- clean and maintain the dining room and bistro to the highest standards per company guidelines
- complete required side work as assigned
- attend pre-meal meeting to gain knowledge of the meal
- maintain knowledge of menu items and provide general descriptions
- assist residents with menu selections and respond professionally to questions about menu items
- use Sunrise systems per guidelines for order taking and meal delivery to ensure accuracy
- practice safe food handling procedures at all times in accordance with laws, regulations, and company policies
- comply with health and safety regulations and adhere to safety procedures including PPE, fire extinguishers, SDS, and Lockout Tagout procedures
- perform other Dining Services duties such as washing and sanitizing dishes and utensil, sweeping work areas, sanitizing production areas, emptying trash, preparing and serving light meals, assisting with food preparation and plating as needed
- participate actively in team goals and demonstrate Team Member Credo
- commit to serving residents and guests through Principles of Service
- contribute to engagement programs and attend meetings as directed
- maintain compliance with required training and perform other duties as assigned
