- High school diploma or GED
- CPR certification within 90 days of hire
- Previous clerical experience
- Previous customer service experience
- Ability to engage positively with patients and guests
- Capacity to maintain cleanliness
- Comfortable answering phones
- Ability to work in a diverse cultural and linguistic environment

Job Duties
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, family members, hospital staff, and physicians
- Engage and interact with patients, guests, and staff in an appropriate, positive manner
- Provide updates and relay information to surgery patients and guests as appropriate
- Answer and respond to incoming phone calls in an appropriate and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and restock hospitality station in Surgery waiting room
