Job Requirements

  • Restaurant experience required
  • ability to work from mid November to January 8th during dinner services
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • must be at least 18 years old
  • ability to operate restaurant equipment safely
  • adherence to company safety protocols and personal protective equipment usage

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous restaurant experience required
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • basic math skills for cash handling
  • ability to follow company policies and safety procedures
  • flexibility to work seasonal evening shifts

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders in an efficient manner following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advising guests on suitable food and drink combinations and accommodating reasonable requests
  • communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure orders are correct and special requests are met
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
  • promptly address complaints or issues and relay relevant information to supervisors
  • ensure the dining room is properly set up before and after service, keeping the area clean and meeting sanitation standards
  • operate various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
  • work with staff of other departments during special events and functions
  • perform other duties as assigned
