Job Requirements

  • Restaurant experience required
  • ability to perform duties during the seasonal schedule from mid-November to January 8th
  • capacity to work during dinner service hours
  • strong customer service skills
  • proficiency in safe food handling and sanitation
  • ability to operate relevant food service equipment
  • adherence to company policies including proper use of gloves and safety techniques
  • flexibility and patience in communication
  • capability to maintain confidentiality

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients including accommodating dietary restrictions and allergens
  • communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and special requests
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote and maintain a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
  • promptly address complaints or issues and relay relevant information to supervisors
  • ensure that the dining room is properly set up before and after service periods
  • operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
  • work collaboratively with other departments during special events and functions
  • perform other duties as assigned
