Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- strong attention to detail and customer service orientation
- willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced work setting
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is beneficial but not required
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
- accommodate reasonable guest requests and note preferences including specialized diets and allergens
- communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe and neat environment in the dining area
- address guest complaints promptly and relay information to supervisor
- ensure proper setup and cleanup of the dining room before and after service periods
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, and coffee makers
- collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
