Job Requirements

Willing to train
able to work part-time and varying schedules
possess excellent communication skills
capable of standing and walking for extended periods
must comply with food safety standards and company policies
able to handle cash transactions accurately

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
customer service experience preferred but not required
ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
willingness to learn and be trained
teamwork and collaboration skills

Job Duties

Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining food handling and sanitation standards
follow up periodically to assist with additional needs or requests
demonstrate understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on food and drink combinations
communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy
operate equipment such as coffee machines and soda dispensers
collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
promote a clean, safe, and neat environment
address complaints promptly and relay relevant information to supervisors
set up and clean the dining area before and after service periods
work with other departments during special events and functions
perform other duties as assigned
