Job Requirements
- Previous serving experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work part-time hours including Sundays
- Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without accommodation

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous serving experience is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated professionalism and customer service orientation
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- Takes food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- Delivers food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- Follows up periodically to assist with additional needs or requests
- Demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
- Advises guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
- Accommodates reasonable requests and notes preferences including specialized diets and allergens
- Communicates with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and special requests accommodation
- Exhibits exceptional communication skills and maintains flexibility and patience with guests and staff
- Collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
- Promotes a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
- Maintains sensitivity and confidentiality of personal or medical information shared
- Addresses complaints promptly and reports to supervisor
- Ensures dining room setup and cleanliness before and after service
- Operates equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- Works with other departments during special events
- Performs other assigned duties
