Job Requirements
- Prior serving experience is not required
- willingness to train
- ability to work part-time shifts between 11:00 am and 7:00 pm
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- reliable and punctual
- ability to follow health and safety regulations
- must maintain a drug-free workplace
- ability to handle physical aspects of the job such as carrying trays and operating equipment

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- takes food and beverages orders efficiently following established steps of service
- delivers food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follows up periodically to assist with additional needs or requests
- demonstrates understanding of menu items and ingredients
- advises guests on food and drink combinations and accommodates reasonable requests
- communicates directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate orders
- exhibits exceptional communication skills and remains flexible and patient with guests and staff
- collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
- promotes a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- maintains confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly addresses complaints or issues and relays them to supervisor
- sets up and cleans dining room before and after service meeting sanitation standards
- operates dining equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborates with staff from other departments during events and functions
- performs other duties as assigned
