Job Requirements
- Previous serving experience preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff
- Capability to follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Flexibility to work part time including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to handle monetary transactions accurately
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to understand menu items and accommodate dietary needs
- Physical stamina to stand and move during shifts

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- Take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- Deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- Follow up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests
- Advise guests on menu items, food and drink combinations, and accommodate dietary preferences and allergies
- Communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and special requests
- Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- Promote a clean, safe and neat environment for guests
- Maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- Address complaints promptly and report to supervisor
- Ensure the dining room is properly set up prior to and after service periods
- Operate various equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines
- Work with other departments during special events
- Perform other duties as assigned
