Job Requirements

  • Ability to perform the essential duties of the job with or without accommodation
  • availability to work Tuesday through Thursday from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm
  • prior customer service experience preferred
  • basic knowledge of food safety practices
  • good communication skills
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to handle cash accurately
  • flexibility and patience when dealing with guests and staff

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous customer service experience preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • basic math skills for handling cash and tickets
  • positive attitude and strong work ethic

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • takes food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • delivers food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follows up with guests to assist with additional needs or requests
  • demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients advising guests on food and drink combinations
  • accommodates special dietary requests and notes guest preferences
  • communicates with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery
  • exhibits exceptional communication skills and maintains positive relationships with guests and staff
  • collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
  • promotes a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
  • maintains confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
  • addresses complaints promptly and escalates when necessary
  • ensures dining room setup and cleanup meet sanitation standards
  • operates various equipment including fire extinguishers and beverage machines
  • collaborates with other departments during special events
  • performs additional duties as assigned
