Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- takes food and beverages orders efficiently, following established steps of service
- delivers food promptly and professionally
- maintains safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follows up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrates knowledge of menu items and ingredients
- advises guests on food and drink combinations
- accommodates special dietary requests and preferences
- communicates directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery
- exhibits exceptional communication skills and teamwork
- collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
- promotes a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
- maintains confidentiality regarding personal or medical guest information
- promptly addresses complaints or issues and reports to supervisor
- ensures dining area is set up properly before and after service
- operates equipment like fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines
- collaborates with other departments during special events
- performs other duties as assigned
