Job Requirements
- Prior experience in similar role
- Strong customer service and hospitality background
- Ability to work evening shifts and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to follow food safety protocols

- Ability to handle cash and payment procedures
- Willingness to work in senior living or healthcare settings preferred

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- Take food and beverage orders in an efficient manner following established steps of service
- Deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- Follow up periodically to assist with any additional guest needs or requests
- Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
- Accommodate reasonable requests and note guest preferences including specialized diets and allergens
- Communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodation of special requests
- Exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain positive interactions with guests and staff
- Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- Maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- Promptly address complaints or issues and relay information to supervisors
- Set up and clean the dining room before and after service while meeting sanitation standards
- Operate dining room equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, and coffee makers
- Collaborate with staff from other departments during special events and functions
- Perform other duties as assigned
