Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous hospitality experience preferred
- ability to work part-time with flexible scheduling
- strong communication skills
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- compliance with food safety guidelines
- ability to handle cash and transactions accurately
- must be able to work well with team members and guests

- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

- basic math skills for handling cash and tickets
- understanding of specialized diets and allergens is a plus
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
- deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients advising guests on food and drink combinations
- communicate directly with back-of-house staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay information to supervisor
- ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service ensuring cleanliness and sanitation
- operate various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, and coffee machines
- work collaboratively with other department staff during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
