Job Requirements
- Ability to work flexible part-time schedule, including weekends and holidays
- physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous related experience in food service preferred but not required
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation standards
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- teamwork and collaboration skills
- basic math and cash handling abilities

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders in an efficient manner, following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
- advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations and accommodate reasonable requests
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure orders are delivered correctly
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain a positive attitude
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay information to supervisor
- ensure the dining room is properly set up before and after service
- operate various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea and soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- work with staff from other departments during special events
- perform other duties as assigned
