Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • one year of fine dining experience preferred
  • ability to work part-time hours including evenings and weekends
  • ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • reliable transportation to the Indianapolis location
  • ability to provide legal authorization to work in the United States
  • capable of maintaining a drug-free workplace
  • must be able to perform essential duties with or without accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • minimum of one year fine dining or relevant food service experience preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work well within a team
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • ability to handle customer service situations with professionalism
  • basic math skills for cash handling
  • flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends
  • friendly and personable demeanor
  • ability to stand for extended periods during shifts

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items, ingredients, and accommodate special dietary needs
  • communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and special requests
  • exhibit exceptional communication skills and patience when interacting with guests and staff
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat environment
  • maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
  • promptly address complaints or issues and relay information to supervisors
  • ensure the dining room is properly set up before and after service periods
  • operate dining room equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, and coffee machines
  • assist with special events and functions as needed
  • perform other assigned duties as necessary
