Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- one year of fine dining experience preferred
- ability to work part-time hours including evenings and weekends
- ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- reliable transportation to the Indianapolis location
- ability to provide legal authorization to work in the United States
- capable of maintaining a drug-free workplace
- must be able to perform essential duties with or without accommodation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum of one year fine dining or relevant food service experience preferred
- strong communication skills
- ability to work well within a team
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- ability to handle customer service situations with professionalism
- basic math skills for cash handling
- flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends
- friendly and personable demeanor
- ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items, ingredients, and accommodate special dietary needs
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and special requests
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and patience when interacting with guests and staff
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment
- maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay information to supervisors
- ensure the dining room is properly set up before and after service periods
- operate dining room equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, and coffee machines
- assist with special events and functions as needed
- perform other assigned duties as necessary
