Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverages orders efficiently following established service steps
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining food safety and sanitation
  • follow up to assist with any additional guest needs
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
  • advise guests on food and drink combinations
  • communicate effectively with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery
  • collect tickets and follow cash-handling procedures
  • promote and maintain a clean, safe, and neat environment
  • handle guest complaints appropriately and relay information to supervisors
  • ensure proper dining room setup before and after service
  • operate equipment such as fire extinguishers and beverage machines
  • collaborate with other departments during special events
  • perform other duties as assigned
