Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in food service or hospitality preferred
  • ability to work part-time with flexible schedule, including some nights, weekends, and holidays
  • strong customer service orientation
  • good communication skills
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • physical ability to lift and carry trays
  • must comply with company’s drug-free workplace policy
  • eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Prior food service or similar job experience preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • knowledge of safe food handling procedures
  • ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment
  • familiarity with menu items and dietary restrictions
  • ability to operate necessary equipment safely

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs
  • demonstrate understanding of menu items and ingredients
  • advise guests on food and drink combinations
  • accommodate special dietary requests and allergen considerations
  • communicate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are correct
  • exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain patience with guests and staff
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe and neat environment
  • maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal information
  • address complaints promptly and relay to supervisor
  • set up dining room prior to and after service
  • operate equipment including fire extinguishers and beverage machines
  • assist other departments during special events
  • perform other duties as assigned
