Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- ability to work part-time with flexible schedule, including some nights, weekends, and holidays
- strong customer service orientation
- good communication skills
- ability to stand for extended periods
- physical ability to lift and carry trays
- must comply with company’s drug-free workplace policy
- eligibility to work in the United States

- knowledge of safe food handling procedures

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs
- demonstrate understanding of menu items and ingredients
- advise guests on food and drink combinations
- accommodate special dietary requests and allergen considerations
- communicate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are correct
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain patience with guests and staff
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe and neat environment
- maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal information
- address complaints promptly and relay to supervisor
- set up dining room prior to and after service
- operate equipment including fire extinguishers and beverage machines
- assist other departments during special events
- perform other duties as assigned
