Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally, maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu items and ingredients
- advise guests on food and drink combinations and accommodate dietary preferences
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate orders and special requests
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and work well with others
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment
- maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly address complaints or issues, relaying information to supervisors
- ensure the dining room is properly set up and cleaned before and after service
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines
- collaborate with other departments during special events
- perform other duties as assigned
